No, really – are you taking the piss – Office 2007 removal
OK, so I had some time yesterday while I was waiting for Leonie to finish a call. So I uninstalled Office 2007, rebooted, and installed Office 2003.
Except now, the send-receive button in outlook disappears, and I have to manually press F9 to send-receive. Plus, if I try to add a new profile, it all goes hey-wire, talking about missing files and the like. I have no idea what will happen if I try to do something work-related (ie use MAPI). I’d expect crashes, given the state of everything else.
I think a rebuild is on the cards. A*se. I’m going to re-uninstall Office 2003, reboot a few more times, turn to face the sun, hail some random deity, then try again….
[update: it kinda worked. Kinda. But now I can't create profiles in Outlook.... <sigh>]
To the person who recommended OpenOffice: I need Exchange access….
