wired: peak water, getting smarter
Latest Wired is worth a read:
- Peak Water: Aquifers and Rivers and Running Dry. How three regions are coping. This freaks me out way more than peak oil. I can live without oil, tho it’d be a changed life. But without water? Um, no.
- Get Smarter: 12 hacks that will amp up your brain power. I especially like the ones on caffeine (small, frequent shots are better than one or two big ones) and sleep, which I found quite practical and useful.
I love it how they give it away for free the month after. I just wish it was in PDF format – even WITH some ads! – rather than HTML, which wastes paper.
