The short version: We went to Glastonbury last weekend. It was loads of fun, it didn’t rain (much), there wasn’t much mud, and the bands ranged from really good (Manu Chou, Katie Melula, Tuung, Hexstatic, Kate Nash, Nick and Jodie/Way out West, Crowded House U.N.K.L.E LIVE) to ok (most of the rest) to disappointing (Massive Attack – volume on the vocals please!) and totally, absolutly surreal (“smack my bitch up” in the silent disco, the mad professor in the green area). Lots of green and eco stuff too. Picked up some good ideas.

Not sure if I’d go again – it’s a long time to be off, and it’s expensive, but it was fun.
