Tweet Lightning is a minimal twitter client. It’s designed to post to your twitter stream, and nothing else. If you want to view your tweets, or add followers, go get a full twitter application like Tweetie 2 or one of the other 1000 or so Twitter clients on the app store.
It’s one aim is to get you in, get your tweet out, and then get you on with your life. It’s useful at conferences where there is little or no available bandwidth, thanks to the other 1000 geeks there all using twitter and their iphones, or if you are overseas and roaming, and don’t want to pay the massive roaming charges that would come with downloading your twitter stream. (That said, it will still incur some data charges – thats unavoidable). A 140 character tweet will transmit and receive around 2K of data (so you can send around 400 tweets in a megabyte).
When you first launch Tweet Lightning, you will be asked for your twitter username and password on the twitter website. Once these are entered in, you can post to your account. It’s that simple.
Any issues, check your twitter details first, then drop me an email – support@fastchicken.co.nz – or tweet to @fastchicken.
Tweet Lightning is a product of Big Ted Ltd.
